What is a Doula?
As a doula, I am a trained, non-medical professional who will provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to you before, during, and after the birthday! I will help you feel informed, empowered, and supported by offering reassurance, comfort measures, evidence-based information, and advocacy that aligns with your preferences. While I will not perform clinical tasks or replace medical providers, I will work alongside your care team to support your overall experience, well-being, and sense of empowerment throughout your journey into parenthood!
