My role as your Doula is more than being there for the Birthday, I want to care of you as a whole person, helping you navigate this new phase of life with compassion and knowledge. I want to prepare and educate you with researched based evidence to navigate your birth however that looks for you. I believe in a strong emphasis on the postpartum period with all the twists and turns that come with it. I want to come along side you, using my education and experience to help care for you and your family.

Pregnancy

My pregnancy care looks like 3 prenatal visits to help you feel informed, prepared and confident for your birthday and postpartum period. I will be available for text or call support throughout your pregnancy for any immediate questions. I strive to educate you about your pregnancy, help you create a birth and postpartum plan, help you process any fears and answer questions to the best of my abilities through evidence based resources.

Labour & Birth

Care during labour and birth looks like continuous, steady support from as soon as you feel like you need me there to 2-3 hours after you meet your baby. I offer physical comfort through techniques like position changes, breathing guidance, rebozo work, and comfort tools. I also provide you with calm reassurance, encouragement and create a supportive environment. I can help support communication with your care team, while remaining focused on your emotional well-being, allowing you and your partner to feel grounded, supported, and empowered throughout your labour and birth.

Postpartum

My postpartum care focuses on nurturing and supporting your family during the transition after birth. I offer a safe space for you to process your birth, talk about any concerns you are having postpartum,
